Kabul Blames Pakistan for Airstrikes, Islamabad Denies
The confrontation between Pakistan and Afghanistan has taken a turn for the worse after a series of bombings in the Kunar province, which left at least seven people dead and wounded several others, many of whom were students from universities. Despite the Taliban regime’s assertion that the bombing was carried out by jets and drones from Pakistan against civilians and educational institutions, Pakistan has denied such allegations, terming them false. This act of violence has broken the Chinese-brokered ceasefire agreement that had temporarily suspended months of fighting along the borders.
